Description
Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Deputy Finance Director to be based in Oxford, Oxfordshire for an initial period of 6 months with possible extension.
Key tasks and deliverables
Oversee the financial performance, providing the necessary advice, guidance support and or/challenge as appropriate;
Support, analyse and challenge the System Transformation Plans (STP)
Oversee the financial performance and help to ensure delivery against agreed financial targets;
Ensure appropriate financial systems and processes are in place to enable robust financial control
Proactively manage the key risks and issues arising around financial performance and ensuring appropriate actions are taken to mitigate or respond; and
Manage and actively promote the relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external, promoting partnership working across organisational boundaries.
Experience Required

- Ability to influence
