ERP Selection/Implementation Consultant required by our client, a multi-national manufacturing company, to join on a contract basis and assist with the selection, strategy and roll-out of a brand new ERP system. The ideal candidate will have experience of working with and implementing multiple financial applications in a lead capacity, working with senior stakeholders in the finance community to gather requirements, plan and execute large-scale financial systems implementation projects. Experience of ERP selection would be ideal, although not essential, as would a CPA qualification or strong accounting/finance background. The client are currently in the final stages of selecting a new financial systems for three US entities, and they are looking for a senior level consultant with manufacturing industry experience to come in and coordinate the latter stages of this process, and then move on to leading the implementation alongside the software house of choice. This would be an initial 3 to 4 month engagement with the very realistic possibility of extending for up to 18 months, and can be based either from the client's Boston offices, or remotely with minimal travel to Boston.
