Description
Control of overarching underwriting policy; responsible for defining underwriting approach, setting the MI and reporting requirements.
Setting periodic reviews of the underwriting risk and communicating the structure through to business units.
Responsible for defining Business Intelligence strategy, delivery and maintenance of the systems to support the business.
Identify requirements for change, and responsible for the implementation of change to improve underwriting effectiveness.
Set and execute governance structure.
Strong academic background related to in underwriting, actuarial, medical, insurance.
Proven track record of leading high performing underwriting and medical risk management teams.
Strong stakeholder management experience, with the ability to build and strengthen relationships within the business and externally at all levels.
