French Speaking Desktop support/PC engineer

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a PC/Desktop Support Engineer to join well established blue chip organisation based at their prestigious offices in Paris .

As a Desktop/PC engineer you will be responsible for the following:

Application support (following process provided by the customer):
O Installing and uninstalling of applications;
o Fault clearance of application;
o Support for applications questions.
- PC hardware support:
o Handover of new hardware;
o Decommissioning of old hardware;
o Creation of physical network connections from the terminal to the network
switch;
o Error analysis for hardware;
o Fault clearance of defective hardware;
o During warranty, triggering of fault clearance with the manufacturer,
monitoring and completion;
o IT relocations.
- Printer support:
o Fault clearance of printer, multifunction devices, fax systems and large
format printers;
o When printing systems are covered by maintenance contract, the triggering
of fault clearance, monitoring and completion with the manufacturer;
o Adjustment and development of printing systems.
- Smartphone support:
o Handover and decommissioning of devices;
o Enterprise Password assignment;
o Deletion and implementation of smartphone devices;
o Fault clearance of the devices;
o Support for usage questions.
- Support telephone devices:
o Setup and decommissioning of devices;
o Fault clearance of landline phone systems.
- Media System support:
o Care and maintenance of conference rooms;
o Fault clearance of the conference equipment in conference rooms;
o User training for the media systems;
o Support for audio and video conferences.
- Additional tasks:
o Warehouse management of IT Warehouse, including inventories,
administration of inventory lists;
o Preparing the hardware;
o Testing new applications and hardware to be lunched.
- In the customer network (following process provided by the customer):
o Creation of NT and Exchange Accounts following process;
o Password reset;
o Fault clearance of customer owned applications with the support.
o Creation and deletion of user accounts in AD;
o Creation and deletion of email accounts in Exchange;
o NT password reset;
o Setup of network access to the customr network;
o Setup of VPN connections with Check Point Identity Agent;
As a Desktop/PC engineer you will ideally have the following experience:
o Active Directory
o Windows 7
o Windows Server 2008
o Windows Server 2012
o Microsoft DFS
o Microsoft Exchange
o Redhat Enterprise Linux
MS Office 2007, 2010
MS Microsoft XP, 7


This would suit a desktop engineer with a min of a years experience looking for a long term contract. Training will be given if candidates do not have all the experience.

N.B candidates must speak fluent French
