Project Manager/Energy/Engineering/Regeneration/Local Authority
ERG are currently working with a Public Sector client who requires an experienced Project Manager within the Innovation & Growth Team. The ideal candidate will have a background in energy, engineering and managing procurement. The Project Manager will play a crucial role working with colleagues, elected members, key businesses and national partners.
The current project pipeline includes a new mixed-use town centre development scheme, deep geothermal energy.
Skills and responsibilities
- Experience of energy projects and anaerobic digestion
- Take ownership of the procurement process and provide the single point of contact dealing with other consultants, members of the project team and partners.
- Understanding local authority procurement processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- It will be expected that when tasks are out to tender the Project Manager will work on other projects/programme activities in relation to the science corridor/energy programme as directed by the Programme Manager.
