My client who are a leading name in the energy and utilities sector are currently looking for an experienced Meter Assessor & Auditor to join them.
Role:
Assess the competence of electricity meter installers in line with NGS MOCoPA requirements. Ensure installer authorisation records are maintained and support installer training and audit activities. To ensure that the safest standards of electricity meter installation are maintained.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assess newly trained/recruited electricity meter installers in line with MOCoPA standards
- Monitor installer audit outcomes to identify defects, monitor trends and implement appropriate corrective actions with regard to electricity meter installer competency
- Lead the coaching of newly qualified installers and input to installer audit programmes to ensure safe and compliant smart meter installation standards
- Carry out work in progress and post-completion audits of Smart installations
- Provide guidance on technical matters relating to electricity meter installation
Experience:
- Experienced electricity metering background, ideally incorporating training and/or assessment of competence
- Comprehensive understanding of electricity DNO operations and processes related to single and multi-phase metering services.
- Experience of working within a metering operation and/or an understanding of the operational demands of such an organisation.
