Optimus Life Sciences are working exclusively with a Global Pharmaceutical company that is becoming an industry leader in the market. My client is based in Oxford and together we are looking for a Validation Engineer to join their team on an initial 6-month contract.Ideal applicants will have a minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within the Pharmaceutical Industry.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible to introduce the new processes, installation of manufacturing and packaging equipment as well as the relocation of existing systems/lines and the improvement of current utilities and facilities.
- Our client will be looking for you to bring proven and demonstrable experience of having worked on Process, Equipment and Utilities Validation.
- You should be comfortable working across the full project life-cycle from URS, DS and DQ through IQ/OQ/PQ .
- This position will provide you the experience of working on a variety of equipment/processes including manufacturing and packaging lines, compressed air, purified water, clean steam.
- On a daily bases your work will vary from putting together the URS, undertaking FATs and SATs, through to the generation of execution of Installation, Operational and Performance Qualification protocols.
- Ideal applicants will have experience in either Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology. The client will also evaluate strong candidates with backgrounds among primary manufacturing, secondary manufacturing (solid dose, semi-solid, liquids, powders etc. - including OTC products), biologics and primary packaging.
