Description

6 mo+ contract for an Electronics Test Technician. The Technician will be part of a dedicated and talented team responsible for test development and execution including Hardware and Mechanical Reliability verification testing.

This is a Flex shift 70% will be spent on 3rd shift from 11 pm-8 am, but with a weeks notice candidates may be asked to work on 1st or 2nd shift.

The candidates will cross train but there will be two main duties on each shift

1) Water Bench testing ( this consists of putting the water meter into the testing bench, analysing it and entering the information in to the a spread sheet, etc.)

2) Cross Sectioning ( this will involving entering a portion of the meter into the cross sections saw which is in closed in a case and started with a button after it is closed, photographing the meter, smoothing it and then looking at it under the Microscope).

* The Technician will be part of a dedicated and talented team responsible for test development and execution including Hardware and Mechanical Reliability verification testing.

Prefer an Associates' Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field equivalent work experience.

Have hands-on experience in operating various testing and laboratory equipment (multi-meters, power supplies, DAQs, thermal chambers, cross-sectioning/polishing tools, microscopes and digital cameras and basic shop type equipment Prefer a working competency of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc)

Local candidates needed. Must work onsite and be able to work hourly on a w2 only.
