Interim Principal Quality Engineer
An Interim Principal Quality Engineer is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Glasgow.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Interim Principal Quality Engineer contract role
You will be required to provide specialist expertise and/or to organise and co-ordinate significant aspects of the quality activity, ensuring defined objectives are achieved whilst continually meeting quality and service requirements as well as Carry out ISO9001:2015 Gap Analysis and develop a transition plan to support this. You will also manage and take responsibility for routine and non-routine quality activities without immediate supervision.
Key skills required for the Interim Principal Quality Engineer
- Experience working in a 'Quality' environment
- Chartered quality professional through CQI membership
- Previous experience in the Naval sector (desirable)
Key Technical Skills
- Practicalities of Business Management System management and development
- Production of effective process and process documentation
- Auditing skills
- Good working knowledge of statistical methods
- PC skills - MS Office
- Practical Problem Solving/Root cause analysis
The role is based in Glasgow - Commutable from Kilmarnock, Paisley, Greenock, Stirling and Falkirk with excellent access from Edinburgh.
