Supportability Engineer - Armoured Vehicles

A Supportability Engineer with Armoured Vehicles is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Cumbria.

This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence company.

Overview of the Supportability Engineer contract role

You will be responsible for the Preparation of Supportability reports to facilitate the engineering change process and conducting related Availability Reliability and Maintainability (ARM) activities, translating, Influencing and incorporating engineering change into an existing suite of ILS documentation and data.

Key skills required for the Supportability Engineer

Proven ability to conduct Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) on new, existing and modified designs.

This may involve any of the following tasks;

  • LCN structuring
  • Previous experience in either armoured vehicles or munitions (desirable)
  • Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM)
  • Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
  • Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA)
  • Provisioning data compilation
  • Training Needs Analysis (TNA)

The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District.
