Contract Coordinator: World Leading Energy Trading Co

World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for a Contract Coordinator to join this energetic and fast-paced evolving environment, where people are encouraged to play an active role in shaping the way the business is run. As such, key to this posting is the ability to be flexible, adaptable, open-minded, goal-orientated, and control framework conscious.

This role is focused on the European gas, power and environmental products markets in initially delivering the following:

- Draft and ensure timely dispatch of bespoke long form confirmations for non-standard deals.
- Liaise with Traders and Operators to advise on non-standard deals.
- Draft and ensure timely dispatch of standard Counterparty Confirmations.
- Receive and reconcile Counterparty Confirmations.
- Reconcile Broker Recaps against the system of record to ensure accuracy.
- Chase outstanding and overdue Recaps and Confirmations
- Monitor electronic Confirmations for failures and resolve through to successful match.
- Support the provision of regular monthly KPI's
- Provide training as required to colleagues.

About You:

- Previous working knowledge of gas/power/emissions/derivatives and Confirmations in a trading environment.
- Understand the mechanics of non-standard deals and able to reinterpret that into a confirmation/trading system.
- Ability to draft nonstandard confirmations/agreements.
- Ability to absorb technical information quickly and apply the information effectively in practice.
- A good appreciation of the need for, and use of KPIs.
- High level of attention to accuracy and detail and timeliness of delivery.
- Experience in maintaining internal procedure documents.
- Experience of referring to a system for deal verification purposes.
- Ability to prioritise workload and deliver against tight deadlines.
- A dynamic individual, who demonstrates enthusiasm and self-motivation within the guidelines of the organisation.
- A proven team player.
- A flexible approach and a commercial orientation.
- Ability to develop and maintain ongoing working relationships, networks and partnerships to help achieve business goals through others.
- Proficient with the use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of German language is a plus but not required for the job
