This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Analyst to work for a great company on specific contract for 2 months. It will be a stand-alone role so will suite someone who has proven experience and can work well under pressure. The role will involve receiving information and requests for purchase orders on IT equipment where you will raise and process this information.

You will be dealing suppliers and customers via the telephone so excellent communication skills are essential with the ability to liaise with all levels of management. The successful Procurement Analyst will be decisive and self-motivated and will have experience using procurement systems. Experience of PECOS will be favoured!

  • Process and Validate Purchase orders entered on the procurement system
  • Log requests in relation to Purchase orders on the Infra call logging tool
  • Receipt delivered orders on the procurement system
  • Respond to emails and phone calls in relation to purchases and procurement queries
  • Validate calls logged to ensure customer software licences are accurate
  • Monitor and maintain the procurement mailbox
  • Communicate with suppliers and high level customers in relation to procurement queries and orders placed
  • Resolve issues with delays to orders placed
  • Create and maintain monthly reporting in relation to procurement
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets in relation to out of hours work
  • Monitor and update procurement related tasks on Infra call logging tool
  • Monitor and update calendar and spread sheet in relation to orders placed
  • Contact suppliers for monthly price lists and upload them to the customer website
  • Ensure the necessary processes are met in order to deliver a seamless procurement management process.
  • Ensure the Procurement processes interface with the Service Desk, and the Change Management process
  • Identify and raise risks which could potentially impact the procurement process.
  • Provide feedback to Service Manager and Service Director.
  • Effectively manage customer complaints, provide report of findings and corrective measures to Quality Manager.
  • Responsible for attending customer meeting as required for designated accounts.
