Job Title: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Highland heights, OH
Duration:13 months (Possibility for extension )
Description:
- This position is for a certified NM Technologist to perform clinical validation testing on SPECT imaging systems and provide support to the validation staff.
Responsibilities include:
- System clinical use and workflow testing
- Troubleshooting system issues and entering problem reports in the defect tracking system
- Providing validation status updates to the Validation Lead
- Using good documentation practices in an FDA-regulated environment
- Tracking and management of validation data
- The manager will do a weekly schedule which is dependent on program schedules and system availability.
- It is possible to work first shift one week and then move to second or third shift the following week based on program needs.
What are We Looking For:
Qualifications:
- Nuclear Medicine Certification (REQUIRED)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant NM clinical experience
Competencies:
- Work experience with SPECT systems and workstations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Strong written, oral, & interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment
- General troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
Additional Nice-To-Have Competency Areas:
- Experience with Philips SPECT or PET systems
- Defect tracking tools (eg ClearQuest)
- Understanding Medical regulations (eg FDA 21CFR Part 820, MDD, etc.)
