Description
Roc Search's client based in Wiltshire is seeking an experienced Construction Project manager, with experience working on rail infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for the construction phase of the project, the installation through to successful testing, commissioning and handover to the client.
Key responsibilities:
*Lead the planning and implementation of the project, understand and assist the development of full scale project plans
*Proven track record of installing Civil/M&E/Rail contracts within the UK and preferably rail infrastructure projects
*Prime point of contact for the customer at the installation phase
*Manage installation teams, site access and daily planning meetings
*Ensuring installation teams hold all relevant qualifications/permits/tickets
*Constantly monitor and report on progress to the Project Manager
*Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
*Receipt and storage of materials at a pre-existing London based establishment
*Transport of materials to the platform work sites
*Installation of the Platform Screen Door Systems
*Test, commissioning and handover of the Platform Screen Door Systems to the employer
*Reliability, availability and maintainability tests
*Handover
Key Skills
*Mechanical/electrical installation experience required
*Experience in managing commercial aspects of large OE projects
*Extensive experience in a rail project environment
*Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, change management, risk management and techniques
*Experience in delivering NEC3 contracts
*CDM 2015 regulation understanding
*Relevant access cards for London Underground sites
*Critical thinking and problem solving skills
*Commercial awareness, contract management
*Planning and organising; decision making
*Man management of multiple teams of resource
This role will involve travel to sites.
