SAP SCM/CPL Consultant: Upstream Oil & Gas

We are engaged on a number of projects worldwide from the development of IT infrastructure at green field assets to the harmonisation of country systems into global ERP networks, with all the associated benefits. Within the ERP arena we have a leading position within the SAP IS-Oil market.
The role is to provide SAP supply chain 2nd line support for CPL end-users (Contracting, Procurement and Logistics), including support Business Intelligent Project with implementation of SCM KPIs in SAP Business Object, to raise change requests, manage configuration, testing and training related tasks to these activities, and to help existing SCM resources in their daily SAP delivery support workload and activities.
The necessary skills required to deliver the role are to:
Provide analysis, alternatives, and solutions to the SCM-related SAP customers issues.
Manage the customer SAP escalated incidents (from SAP 1st line Helpdesk) in Service Manager and meet the set SLA target.
Deliver locally arranged SAP classroom training for SCM end-users as per published schedule and training needs related to change requests.
Review the business cases for changes with Solution Architect and Portfolio Lead - SCM & HSE, raise the change request in Solution Manager, prepare functional specifications, unit test, user acceptance test, training materials/classroom trainings and communication notes to customers
Participate as functional SCM resource for the BI Project, organize end user meetings/workshops and discussions, review functional specifications, prepare testing scripts, also to lead the unit testing, user acceptance testing and training needs for the SCM and BI projects area.
Share your SAP and Business Object experience with the rest of team
Help SCM team members on their projects, change requests and incidents whenever required
