Your tasks:
- Reporting, forecasting, analysis within the team's responsibility area (MDR=Medical Device Regulation, R&D and GSM = Global strategic Marketing/Upstream Marketing)
- Provides planning support and financial expertise for business decisions and performs ad-hoc complex analyses to support business partners on special projects
- Completes all month end close requirements for MDR (Journal Entries, Account Reconciliations, Budget vs Actual Analysis, Corporate Reporting, Headcount, etc.) in a timely and accurate manner
- Reviews, maintains and improves financial models for MDR
- Ensures compliance within the Tax regulations and guidelines, within local government and company regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance
Your qualifications
- BA or equivalent in accounting or finance; and related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba, SAP FI/CO, SOX required
- Knowledge of more advanced accounting/financial concepts, practices and techniques
- Pharma and/or medical sector experience required
- Good English communication skills, German is preferred
- Project management experience in pharma / medical devices sector is a plus
