Description
Storage Administrator required for a 6 to 12 month contract with a leading client in Dublin.
Storage Administrator services including EMC,VMAX, NetApp, Hitachi,HP XP & DP arrays and others, fiber channel Switches (Cisco and Brocade), FCIP remote replication, EMC SRDF and Perl Scripting
Technical Skills required:
- Storage variants expeirnece with SAN - EMC, NetApp, HP, IBMm, NAS - NetApp, EMC
- Storage hardware platforms experience with HP XP24000, HP EVA8100, NetApp FAS 3160, FAS3240, EMC VMAX, EMC VNX 5xxx, EMC DataDomain, Cisco MDS 9xxx SAN Director Switch and future release, Brocade/Mcdata SAN Switches, Fiber cables - LC-LC, SC-SC, GBIC
- Backup and Recovery platforms experinece with EMC Networker, Symantec NetBackup, IBM TSM, HP DataProtector
- Operating system platforms experience with; Unix - Solaris, AIX, HP UX, Linux, Windows - Windows 2003, Windows 2008 and VMWare ESX
Qualifications and experience:
- Strong Storage administration experience
- Experience in building and configuring Storage systems
- Experience in using data backup/recovery software
- Storage Firm ware and Hardware upgrades
- IT Customer Support/Service Delivery experience
Certifications:
- Must possess EMC, VMX and DMX
- Cisco and Brocade, SAN Fabric
- HP XP & DP Array, NetApp storage
