Description

NK116: IT Contract Manager ( supplier contract management) Banking, Brussels
Background
As a key market infrastructure player providing post-trade Settlement and related services to the financial industry, the bank has to comply with new regulations by mid-2017.
For this purpose, the bank is implementing a group-wide program to ensure compliance with the systems and policies/procedures in due time.
The mission is part of the outsourcing working group in charge of implementing the regulator's requirements related to controls on outsourcing and critical service providers, and to set up the necessary operational framework allowing the bank to demonstrate full compliance in readiness for the filing to the regulator in June 2017.
The teams' scope in the outsourcing is focused on the compliance of the 30+ critical service providers, which are mainly IT vendors (infrastructure hardware/software/middleware and network suppliers).
You will be working to deliver and support the department required contribution to the outsourcing cross-divisional working group, along three key areas:
1- Translate the requirements of the regulators and of the core working group into clear action plans and deliverables, driving their implementation and ensuring the necessary stakeholder reviews/validation
2- Support the procurement and legal teams in the ongoing contact/SLA re-negotiations with the critical external providers to ensure compliance, and follow up on any residual gaps
3- Coordinate with the department's internal stakeholders and senior management to set up the operational performance management process of critical suppliers
Role involves
- Given the forced/mandatory nature of the initiative and the aggressive time frame imposed to reach full compliance, we are looking for an experienced IT Contract Manager profile, i.e. strong negotiation skills or equivalent field experience in managing providers or in supplier contract management, but also able to demonstrate a strong drive with excellent coordination/communication skills to ensure alignment and buy-in of internal senior stakeholders to the new/updated operational procedures.
- You should be a strong team player, and demonstrate work autonomy and leadership to define and drive action plans
- Fluent in English is required (French and/or Dutch are a plus) and strong communication skills in an IT and Business environment, both with technical experts and senior management
Further information:
The IT supply chain is constantly evolving in most large IT organizations with the additional challenge from the new regulation of increased controls and risk management: we offer you a key position providing you with the opportunity to develop core competencies in negotiating with external providers and in shaping the internal process for managing the performance of external parties.
Focusing on outsourcing and critical service providers, you will join a stimulating international team supporting all banks group entities, allowing you to grow your understanding of IT and business services across the group.
Your role will combine field work, cross-divisional collaboration and contacts with senior people in the company.
You must be an EU national to apply for this role.
