Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Manage and administer the UK employee risk benefits across the Time Warner group of companies. Liaise with the Director, International Benefits on setting up and maintaining cross divisional benefit plans in the UK. Provide the data on, and manage the insurance programs for the group for all types of risk. Implement any UK specific benefit programs and initiatives as determined through the group wide benefit councils.

Develop administration efficiencies across group benefits. Work closely with the payroll team and Divisional HR teams to provide support and collaboration on the operational management of benefits. Special attention to be provided on the maintenance of systems and processes for pensions (auto enrolment) and enrolment based benefit plans.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for managing and administering all risk benefits in the UK.
  • Manage pension auto enrolment requirements, the ongoing processes and any new developments that arise.
  • Manage the UK benefits system and the interface and reporting requirements of HR, payroll and external vendors.
  • Responsible for the preparation of data and negotiation of risk renewals.
  • Support the group with occupational health requirements and the inter-vendor processes that relate to this.
  • Maintain relationships with the external benefit vendors, brokers and consultants for UK risk benefits.
  • Work closely with HR, Payroll, Health & Safety and the Health & Wellness team on all UK benefits.
  • Investigate competitors' UK benefit plans and keep up-to-date on the market and provide feedback to the International, Benefits Director on UK benefit developments.
  • Implement new UK benefit programs and initiatives as well as managing changes to existing UK benefit programs.
  • Undertake research projects as required.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Strong experience in the management of auto enrolment practises.
  • Technically strong on risk insurance benefits.
  • Experience in benefit systems management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Ability to work independently but also with integrated teams.
  • Resourceful and good with numbers and data manipulation.
