Role: Senior Associate - Contractor
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: £400 a day
Location: Surrey
Purpose of your role
- The Retirement Team process retirement, death and divorce cases for members of DC Full Service Schemes. The role is key to providing uncompromising service to our clients and members.
- Ensure the Retirement team follow established procedures and legal requirements
- Verifying key tasks so that consistent & good customer outcomes are achieved for members and clients of Fidelity's DC business.
- Ensure all allocated work is processed in a timely manner avoiding exposure to unnecessary risks in market movements
- Ability to organise the day to day planning of workload.
- Dealing with financial transactions, approving invoices and sales
- To quality check work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- To support the team members with queries in absence of manager
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately approving of financial transactions for Retirement, Death and Divorce
- Quality checking Protected tax free cash and Guaranteed Minimum Pension calculations
- Prioritise and check thoroughly the accuracy and completeness of all aspects of own work and the work of others.
- Ensure Administration work is within the expected standards in productivity, quality and response times
- Deal promptly and confidently with routine and non-routine enquiries by providing accurate information
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Prior experience in calculating Protected tax free cash and Guaranteed Minimum Pension (essential)
- Minimum of 5 years pensions experience
- Well developed knowledge of Defined Contributions
- Awareness of industry developments and changes in Pension Regulations desirable
- Strong analytical skills with proven attention to detail
- A desire to ensure each and every customer outcome is accurate and the best it can be
