Description
IT Field Engineer required for our large client based in Portlaoise. The role will mainly be situated in Portlaoise but may require some occasional travel to Cork/Limerick.
It is a 12 month rolling contract, looking for someone with ideally 2+ years experience in a hands on IT role.
The candidate will ideally have exposure to the following:
§PC/Notebook Hardware/Smart Devices
§Server Hardware
§Printer Hardware
§Windows O/S from Win2000 onwards
§Cabling types CAT5, CAT6, fibre optic, analogue telephone cables, USB, Firewire
§Network Access Control
§Cisco Routers and Switches
§WAN and LAN Infrastructure
§IP Networks
§PABXs
Some industry certification would be an advantage but not mandatory.
