Quality Review Engineer - Defence
A Quality Review Engineer with Defence experience is required to work on a two month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Cumbria.
This is a 2 month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Quality Review Engineer contract role
You will be required to review purchase order requirements and flow down of technical data to supplier to ensure compliance (Steel/Plate supplier),review the quality requirements in accordance with the QASOR (Quality Assurance Statement of Requirements) to ensure the relevant material certificates, NDE etc certificates comply with relevant defence standards as identified on the QASOR.
Key skills required for the Quality Review Engineer
- Experience of quality records
- A good eye for scrutinising detail within complex doc packs
- Good communication skills
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Microsoft office competent
The role is based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - commutable from Carnforth, Milnthorpe, Lancaster, Morecambe, Penrith, Workington, Whitehaven and The Lake District.
