IBM WebSphere Specialist - IBM Integration Bus and IBM MQ - France - Contract - ASAP Start - 3 month rolling
Next Ventures are currently seeking a IBM WebSphere Specialist to join a forward thinking Banking organisation based in the France.
The purpose of the role is to increase IT Ops capability to support the production Enterprise Service Bus environment of IBM Integration Bus and IBM MQ. This role is critical to supporting the growth and reliance on IBM technology for Bank's strategic integration Middleware roadmap.
The IT Operations Engineer is an individual with strong experience in managing and troubleshooting operating systems, networks and applications. As a WebSphere specialist they will also be expected to perform the installation, configuration, and day-to-day tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient operation of a WebSphere MQ and IBM Integration Bus run time environments including the setup of the queue manager network. They should understand the complexities of infrastructure design and maintenance, be able to analyze architecture and security issues, and perform advanced troubleshooting. They are also expected to identify performance bottlenecks and provide administrative solutions where appropriate.
Purpose
- Administer, maintain and deploy IBM Integration Bus and/or IBM WebSphere Message Broker
- Administer, maintain and deploy WebSphere MQ
- Install, secure and configure IBM Integration Bus and/or IBM WebSphere Message Broker
- Install, secure and configure WebSphere MQ
- Perform problem determination tasks regarding MQ and IIB
- Understand high availability configuration including multi-instancing of IBM Integration Bus and MQ
- Monitor the health of MQ and IIB aswell as make recommendations on performance and resource optimization
- Administration knowledge of supported operating systems (eg Linux, Windows)
- Good Understanding of enterprise service bus concepts and products
- Good understanding of messaging concepts as they relate to IBM WebSphere MQ
- Knowledge of operating WebSphere MQ Explorer
- Knowledge of networking concepts (eg, TCP/IP, SSL, Load Balancers etc.)
- IBM Integration Bus or IBM WebSphere Message Broker administration/installations/support
- Windows/Linux administration/installations/support
Any one with strong experience within IBM Integration Bus and IBM MQ should apply.
