Manufacturing Engineer
Rate: £28-30p/h
Location: Loughborough
2 opportunities available - 6month + contracts
Providing process improvement support to this global organisation you will form part of a focused team whose responsibility is to drive continuous improvement and optimise work flow processes in this automated high volume, but highly regulated environment.
Supporting R&D through to full rate production you develop new product lines through their life cycle on to the manufacturing floor and on to the customer ensuring that from a process perspective the product is compliant, meeting all required standards. The emphasis will be with regard to the automated packaging processes driving efficiency and effectiveness through structured six sigma and lean methodology driving OEE.
Candidate
With experience in process optimisation within a regulated environment (food, pharmaceutical, aerospace, nuclear) you will be well versed in lean with a desire to constantly improve the automated production machinery and packaging environment. Championing continuous improvement you will have six sigma certification/training and knowledge.
You will be able to demonstrate examples of influencing and enhancing process and policy resulting in a compliant product, within an efficient manufacturing process and effective use of resources.
You will be able to effectively liaise across multiple departments utilising your expertise within manufacturing optimisation, factory layout, resource management and have experience owning processes to drive positive change.
