Safety Coordinator - Commissioning
A Safety Coordinator with commissioning experience is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Glasgow.
This is a six month contract with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Safety Coordinator contract role
You will be required to coordinate the commissioning safety processes across all ships through the development and execution of commissioning processes and risk assessments, conduct and manage the platform and combat safety operating requirements to safely complete the commissioning programme and manage the status information required to maintain the commissioning safety activities and processes.
Key skills required for the Safety Coordinator
- Hold a HND/HNC with the relevant engineering experience.
- NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Recognised Safety Management Certificates.
- Previous experience on Naval safety commissioning (Desirable)
The role is based in Glasgow - Commutable from Kilmarnock, Paisley, Greenock, Stirling and Falkirk with excellent access from Edinburgh.
