Site Inspector/Manager - Defence
A Site Inspector/Manager with defence/historic buildings experience is required to work on a fifteen month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Portsmouth.
This is a 15 month contract working with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the Site Inspector/Manager contract role
You will carry out a wide range of Site Inspector duties for project work across our clients varied portfolio of property assets including industrial and commercial property, historical building, supporting our client to maintain and improve them. You will also work closely with the Programme Manager and stakeholders to ensure the site(s) are safe and a high standard of workmanship is undertaken.
Key skills required for the Site Inspector/Manager
- Previous experience in and on historic buildings (desirable)
- The ideal candidate will preferably have trade or site managerial experience
- Knowledge of construction health and safety legislation
The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester.
