My client is looking for a Market Procurement Leader(MPL) to join a global company within the telecoms industry to oversee the CEE market.

The CEE Market Procurement Leader is a senior leadership role in Procurement, being responsible for inputting in the creation and delivery of in-country supply market sourcing strategies as well as influencing the global supply market within Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience required -

  • Solid senior leadership experience and the ability to role model the Liberty Global leadership expectations
  • Experience in the field of Procurement/Supply Management
  • Deep working knowledge of and sector experience in the respective Market
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Excellent change management skills to drive step improvement in Procurement Market capabilities within a global Matrix structure
  • Relates effectively to people at all levels of the organization and with the Supply base
  • Knows when to push for a solution and how to win people's commitment
  • Can exert influence without formal authority across the business in a complex Matrix organization
  • Can-do mentality, pragmatic, drives for excellent results
  • Demonstrable experience of working in an international, team-oriented, collaborative environment, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Ability to develop a consistent strategy for country market sourcing activities
  • Able to articulate, advocate and work effectively at a Senior Executive level to build relationships, develop support, and advance the activities of the Global Supply Market function within the company
  • Able to liaise effectively with executive vendor management and have contract negotiation skills covering complex agreements
  • 10 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain/relevant Business
  • 5 years of experience working in a leadership/management position
  • 5 years of experience in an international/multi-country environment
