Shift - 8a to 5p
Rate - $14.50/hour
Location - Westlake, TX and will relocate to Coppell, TX if contract extends into early 2017
Duration - 3(+) months
Job Description:
- Perform a variety of clerical functions within residential tax processing to ensure timely procurement and accurate payment of taxes.
- Works on assignments that are moderately difficult in nature and requires judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
- Processes/researches a high volume of issues and/or more complex issues because of experience and breadth of client and process knowledge.
- Adheres to internal and client policies on security, privacy and other compliance issues.
- Properly administer government regulations to the process of tax servicing.
Duties include
- Escrow reporting
- Payment processing
- Reviewing incoming tax bills
- Indentifying and disbursing bills for system input
- Reviewing reports from mortgage companies to check for missing payments
- Matching bills to checks
- Extracting system data and forwarding to clients
- Determining mailing process and preparing information/check requests for lead/supervisor to allocate funding.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works on assignments that are semi routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Processes typically involve review of multiple factors such as payment schedules, client rules, agency rules, etc.
- Usually involves making contacts outside own organization.
- Obtain or provide information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation such as determining tax amounts.
Education: HS Diploma/GED
Required Experience:
- Two to four years related experience
- Good Written and communication skills
- Analytical skills
- Basic Computer Skills
