From December 2016 / January 2017 we are looking for a SysOps Engineer for one of our projects in Berlin.
YOUR TASKS
? Work on the IT infrastructure to support complex SW release processes
? Install, maintain and development, test and and production infrastructure
? build, maintain and optimise CI (Jenkins) and deployment pipelines
? take care of local and cloud based servers, including their provisioning, security and recovery, upgrades and monitoring
YOUR PROFILE
? Good understanding of System Administration
? Experience in working with Jenkins and Jira
? Hands-on experience with cloud technologies
? Experience in configuring and running software on Linux
? Experience with automation technologies (chef preferred)
? Experience with configuring and operation large JEE based systems, experience with Tomcat
? Good understanding of setting up and configuring firewalls
? Virtualisation with VMware
? Comfortable with handling high available systems
? A strong understanding of Python and Bash
? Experience with Non-SQL databases (Cassandra)
? Ideally you are knowledgeable in IT security
? Very good communication skills in English, both written and spoken – speaking German is a plus
? Experience with big projects in an international environment
? Good team player
PROJECT DETAILS
? Project duration: initially 8 months (extension until end of 2017 is planned)
? Start date: December or January
? Location: Berlin + occasional travel to southern Germany
? Working mode: 100% onsite
? EU citizenship is required
