I am currently recruiting for an experienced Internal Auditor on behalf of one of my Insurance clients based in Dublin.
To be considered for the position you must have the following:
- Accounting Qualification
- Insurance related internal audit experience;
- Knowledge of financial and operational risks and controls,
- Ability to identify inherent risks in a process and to develop tests to evaluate the effectiveness of controls currently in place
- Strong understanding of internal auditing standards and techniques.
The Role
To support the Head of Internal Audit and provide an independent and objective opinion to the Audit Committee(s) of the effectiveness of
- The Company's Internal control framework.
- Adherence to agreed policies, procedures and operations.
Responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan.
