Manning Global is recruiting an IT Customer Support Engineer for our client, a global leading telecommunication company, to be based in Bucharest, Romania.


Position Title: IT Customer Support Engineer
Position Type: 3 months initial contract

Responsibilities:
- Take part in the build of a strong team that will handle customer service requests from all Europe for our IT products (Storage, Servers, Data Protection products, Data Center, Cloud Computing, Big Data & Cloud Storage and more).


Skills:
- Familiar with OS (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Knowledge of SAN storage and protocols (iSCSI, FC, RAID).
- Knowledge of NAS storage and protocols (CIFS, NFS).
- Knowledge of Database (Oracle, MYSQL).
- Strong troubleshooting skills (able to analyze debug outputs and logs).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecom, Electronics or Computer Science.
- Minimum 2-4 years previous work experience in the IT / telecom area.
- Background in OS, Database would be a plus.
- IT certifications are a plus (from different vendors).
