Project Manager - London - Banking - £ a day
My client is looking for a strong Project Manager with a financial services background ideally with experience of delivering Integration software projects within Settlement, Risk and FX environments. The role is managing projects for multiple clients, predominantly global investment banks.
You must be self-motivated Project Manager with excellent communication skills and demonstrate a strong background in project delivery within investment banking.
The ideal Project Manager will have worked on Integration Projects within an Investment Bank and have a strong understanding of Agile processes.
Project Manager requirements:
- Internal senior stakeholder management and close liaison with development and support teams
- Work with product teams in UK, US ensuring deliveries meet the overall project
- Financial, technical and schedule reporting
- Ensure the projects are delivered to internal policies and controls.
- Risk management and problem solving
Key Skills
- Proven track record of project delivery within an investment banking and preferable experience of large scale integration software projects in Risk, FX environments
- Excellent organisational and planning skills and leadership skills
- Ability to work very well under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with both business and technology stakeholders at any level
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others
- Experience of different project delivery methodologies, eg Agile/Waterfall
- Formal Project Management qualifications
