Description
Resource 1 is in need of a Sr. Project Manager for a contract position in downtown Chicago (walking distance from the train station). Individual should have at least 7 years of Project Management experience and be familiar with PMI-based project management tools and Agile/Scrum methodology. The initial project will involve moving the current infrastructure to Azure. Individual should have 3+ years of experience with IT Infrastructure/Operations projects, such as migrations, upgrades, disaster recovery, build-outs, or implementations. Large-scale cloud migration project experience is preferred (especially moving to Azure), but not required. Project will also involve implementing Azure SSO (Single Sign On) across current software products and rolling out OneDrive for Business. The ideal person would have worked extensively on Ops projects and also be familiar with the software development life cycle. Additional responsibilities will include project planning, risk analysis/mitigation, project scheduling, impact analysis, status reporting, scrum meetings, etc. PMP or Agile Certification is a plus but not required for this position.
