MRU Acceptance Analyst

Business specific responsibilities:

  • This position is part of the FE Smart Meter Implementation Project. It is expected this position will be required for approximately 24 months. Focus is on the acceptance process and providing accurate and timely data to multiple working groups including Billing, the PMO, SMOC Operations and other teams as required.
  • Interacts with and communicates operational issues and processes with IT, Reporting, Deployment, Bill Certification and other SMIP Teams. Position will reside in either Akron Ohio or Connellsville Pa.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing a thorough understanding of the smart meter life cycle MRU Acceptance - Follow established MRU Acceptance Plan including - Review, statistical analysis, acceptance and reporting of Meter Reading Units (MRU's). Identify, propose and implement changes to the existing plan. Performance of AMI auditing functions to ensure reads received through the interrogation process are accurate.
  • Coordinate the prioritization of work with Deployment to ensure timely MRU acceptance and bill certification. Monitor and perform analysis of meter data using various reporting tools. Analyze data in the various end-use systems for accuracy. Analyze current processes and develop and implement improved processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum of 7 years of professional work experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to recognize and implement process improvements, map processes and identify barriers.
  • Knowledge of SOX principles preferred. Working Experience with SAP desired. Working experience with QlikView, Toad DataPoint or similar data analysis tools required, with ability to write advanced Ad hoc queries. Working experience with ServiceNow Project Portfolio Suite strongly preferred.
