We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious ICT company to support their project in USA.


Position Title: Senior Solution Sales Architect (Carrier IP)

Responsibilities:
- Supporting strategic IP/MPLS projects for the global top telecom operators and engaging with customers by sharing the company solutions, strategy and future directions.
- Understanding customer’s requirements, offering optimum solutions, providing detailed product presentations to mid-level to upper management.
- Supporting customer targeted technology events, preparing technical solutions, and traveling to customer locations and our client’s regional offices supporting the account teams.
- Interfacing with the engineering teams to develop and present proof of concept solutions demonstrations.
- Brand ambassador evangelizing our client’s IP vision and articulating the advantages of our client’s Carrier IP solutions and services.
- Supporting our client’s Carrier IP Marketing and Branding activities (CXO visits, seminars, workshops, and forums), promote the Huawei IP brand and develop new opportunities.
- Maintaining relationships with top industry analysts and journalists such as OVUM, Infonetics, Lightreading and etc.
- Acquiring customer, market and competitive information on daily basis in order to influence R&D/HQ to make the right and timely decisions for product and solution planning. Required areas of expertise include SDN/NFV, DC/DCI, IPCORE/IGW, IP&OTN Synergy, BRAS/CGN, ME, IPRAN, IPv6 Migration, EDD/CPE and etc.


Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in Product Management/Sales Support/Sales Engagement/Sales Engineering in the IP/MPLS industry at well-known international vendors or Tier 1 operators.
- Strong knowledge and understanding in protocols, like VLAN/STP, IGP/BGP, IPv6, LDP/RSVP-TE, VLL/VPLS/VPRN, Inter-AS VPN & CSC, Seamless MPLS, IP and MPLS Multicast, QoS, all kinds of OAM etc.
- In-depth familiarity with solutions like 3-play, IPRAN, OTN and IP over DWDM, IPv6 Migration, FW/NAT/IPSec/DPI, DC Fabric and SDN/NFV etc.
- Strong telecommunication background on DSLAM/GPON, DWDM/OTN, 2G/3G/LTE mobile architecture, IPTV
- Familiar with IP-related standards, with experience in IETF and ITU-T standards activity and so on.
- Must have the ability to see and explain the big picture or direction of a project, as well as the ability to drill down to details depending on the audience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (written and speaking) and ability to work independently.
- Experience in working with various regional sales teams.
- MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science is highly desired
- Willing to travelö 35-40%
