We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious ICT company to support their project in USA.


Position Title: Senior Solution Sales Architect (Video)

Responsibilities:
- Supporting strategic mid-size to large Video related projects and engaging with customers by sharing the company solutions, strategy and future directions.
- Understanding customer’s requirements, offering optimum solutions, providing detailed product presentations to mid-level to upper management.
- Supporting customer targeted technology events, preparing technical solutions, and traveling to customer locations and our client’s regional offices supporting the account teams.
- Interfacing with the engineering teams to develop and present proof of concept solutions demonstrations.
- Brand ambassador evangelizing our client’s IT vision and articulating the advantages of our client’s Video solutions and services.
- Supporting our client’s Video Solutions Marketing and Branding activities (CXO visits, seminars, workshops, and forums), promoting our client’s Video brand and develop new opportunities.
- Maintaining relationships with top industry analysts and journalists such as OVUM, Infonetics, Lightreading and etc.
- Acquiring customer, market and competitive information on daily basis in order to influence R&D/HQ to make the right and timely decisions for product and solution planning. Required areas of expertise include DRM, VOD, Video distribution, video encoding and measurement standard, Terminals, access, network and service platform for E2E video delivery


Qualifications:
- 10+ years of direct Product Management/Sales Support/Sales Engagement/Sales Engineering experience in the Video delivery industry within well-known international vendors or Tier 1 operators.
- Experience with operations with headends at cable or telco FTTH providers.
- Solid understanding with various video encoding and measurement standards; MPEG2, MPEG4, HEVC, ETSI,TR STCE 168.
- Deep understanding of Video distribution system engineering or design experience.
- Knowledge of current CAS systems i.e. DAC and DNCS as well as DRM.
- Strong background and knowledge of VOD, SDV, HDTV, IPTV, OTT, SPTS/MPTS, DPI, encoding, transcoding and adaptive streaming technologies as well as HD-SDI, ASI and video over IP.
- Deep understanding and experience with IP video systems, TV anywhere services, set-top box middleware, cloud DVR, ACR (automatic content recognition).
- Experience and understanding of impact of virtualization and SDN/Cloud on IP video ecosystems.
- Experience and understanding of impact of 4K video trends on the MSO/Telco network infrastructure.
- Quick learner and self-starter, willingness to take ownership of customer solutions and make them successful.
- Must have the ability to see and explain the big picture or direction of a project, as well as the ability to drill down to details depending on the audience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (written and speaking) and ability to work independently.
- Experience in working with various regional sales teams.
- MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science is highly desired
- Willing to travel 35-40%.
