- Prepares and reviews client budgets and accruals. This position provides support to the financial reporting team in conjunction with the fund expenses and periodical management reports.
- Preparation of fund expenses pro-forma.
- Review of fund expenses and accruals. Coordination of the accrual adjustments together with the client and the financial reporting team, ensuring all adjustments are effectively communicated and processed. Preparation of client board books.
- Effective usage of BBH reporting tools in order to streamline the workflow while paying high priority attention to detail and timeliness.
- Processing of Director's fees and calculation & verification of withholding tax thereof.Allocation and review of fees on pooling structures. Proactive anticipation of and response to client needs
- Effectively and efficiently build and maintain strong communication lines with the financial reporting team with respect to all timetables and workflows (ie escalate matters within the financial reporting team to an appropriate extent as well as to the other departments within BBH).Perform special projects as assigned and directed.
- Contribute to the improvement and the productivity of the client team as well as BBH standards of service. Assist in training of junior team members with regard to internal policies, procedures and systems.
Qualification:
- BA/BS degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or related studies, and/or equivalent work experience.
- 2 to 4 years global fund accounting or related industry experience.
- Previous financial reporting is considered a plus. Strong aptitude for numbers and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of analytical ability. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
