IT EngineerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for an IT Engineer to join their business in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities:
- Proof of Concept (POC) test and certification test in pre-sales phase
- Hardware/software validation, installation and commissioning
- Product and technology training to customer/partner
- Remote and onsite Technical support
- Troubleshooting network, fibre channel and application related problems
- Professional services such as storage/server design, storage/server implementation, data migration, etc.
Qualifications:
- 5 + years of professional experience, with broad knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), integration of storage systems in existing AD, LDAP or NIS based environments and volume management software and concepts
- The main competences required are in the area of X86 Server, storage: SAN, NAS, DAS, network protocols like NFS, CIFS
- Previous exposure to FC technology and experience with FC hardware is required
- Experience with applications like Exchange, databases: Oracle, MS SQL, DB2
- Experience with virtualization solution like VMWare, KVM, XEN, etc. and expert knowledge in vertical market like banking, insurance or manufacturing will be an additional asset
- Fluent English speaker; Chinese is a plus
