Works Services Engineer - Facilities, Construction, Plant, Equipment and Estates

A Works Services Engineer with Project Management, Construction, Plant, Equipment and Estates experience is required to work on a twelve month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Samlesbury.

This is a 12 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business.

Overview of the Works Services Engineer contract role

Reporting to the Samlesbury Investment Projects FM Team Leader, the individual would be responsible for the management, definition, selection and implementation of a wide range of facilities and estates projects. These projects could include; introduction of manufacturing plant & equipment and site rationalisation work. key infrastructure upgrades, utilities installation & removal, building refurbishments, office accommodation upgrades,

Key skills required for the Facilities Project Engineer

  • Supplier management and communication skills are essential for this role with sound and demonstrable awareness Plant & Equipment installations and/or construction along with good understanding Health & Safety management.

  • Ideally a background in Plant and Equipment installation, Facilities Management, Building Services, or Construction is required, however other similar disciplines will be considered.

  • The applicant should hold a ONC/HNC qualification in a relevant engineering, facilities or construction related discipline.

The role is based in Samlesbury, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
