Spares and Repairs Expeditor - Defence
A Spares and Repairs Expeditor with procurement experience is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Preston
This is a 12 month contract with a UK leading defence company.
Overview of the Spares and Repairs Expeditor contract role
You will be required to assume responsibility for the spares and repair order books as well as management of suppliers and liaison with our clients supply chain and commercial to ensure order books are kept topical. Expediting throughout with suppliers. Resolving problems with internal functions and suppliers that are blocking delivery of serviceable assets back to source.
Key skills required for the Spares and Repairs Expeditor
- Knowledge of procurement would be desirable
- Strong working knowledge of supply chain order books
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
