Position: Endpoint Deployment Manager

Description:
We are recruiting an Endpoints Deployment Manager who will ensure that all endpoints are correctly configured and delivered on time, every time.

Responsibilities:
Direct management of the Endpoints Deployment Team (including input into hiring), potentially up to ten people
Ensuring that the project delivers within its defined budget
Holding to account third-party endpoints commissioning teams, for example for managed print services
Liaison with business, procurement, logistics and other stakeholders for building access, receipt of equipment, storage, testing and other delivery related purposes
Via liaison with stakeholders mentioned above, the creation of a workable deployment plan across the plant
Ensuring that the build lab is suitably equipped to facilitate endpoint deployment
Maintenance of project management and endpoints commissioning artefacts, eg project plans, project status reports, endpoint registers, deployment trackers
Skills/Qualification & Experience:
- Ability to technically lead and direct packages of work, including direction (and potentially recruitment) of other team members (who will undertake physical endpoint deployment, including creation of commissioning guides, onsite receipt and storage of endpoints, physical unboxing, asset tagging, configuration and assistance with test signoff) and outsourced resources
- Flexible, open approach, capable of working in a high-pressured programme with minimal supervision
- Proven capabilities in physical IT rollouts and associated activities and documents
- Excellent project management skills
Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Good written and spoken English
Desirable:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, preferably automotive
- Knowledge of Slovak or Czech
- Global/international collaboration, ie with international colleagues and vendors
