Description
Our client is a leading Global Insurance business who is looking to recruit an experienced Compliance Manager with a broad ranging skill set. The role will take responsibility for providing expert and highly effective advice, guidance and support on all regulatory matters relating to the FCA and PRA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews changes in the UK and European regulatory environment to identify future impact on the business
- Reviews and summarises regulatory papers to determine relevance and impact on the business
- Provides timely and commercially sound guidance and advice to the business functions on all regulatory matters
- Provide support to the Chief Risk Officer
- Draft compliance reports for local management and Group/Executive committees and the FCA
- Lead and manage projects as required
Key Skills & Experience required:
- Generalist broad compliance experience working in a General Insurance Environment
- Experience of engaging at a very senior level including board level
- Experience of engaging with regulatory bodies including the FCA and PRA
- Good team management skills with the ability to motivate and encourage
- Compliance or Legal qualifications would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
