Description

As a Category Sourcing Expert you will be responsible for handling the company's end to end sourcing operations. The successful candidate will be able to appraise and improve our sourcing activities by analysing the company's spending, supplying partnerships and new possibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company's macro cell sites construction and maintenance, ensuring contracts are in place with suppliers in your area
  • Generate and implement efficient category management strategies
  • Analyse and calculate spending and work to decrease expenditure
  • Prepare and agree negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
  • Optimise sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and bench marking
  • Estimate risks and apply risk minimising techniques
  • Discover and partner with trustworthy suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Ability to develop strong partnership relationships with business peers and clients.
  • Proven history of successful contract management/agreement/negotiation
  • Team ethos with cross collaboration experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • 7+ years of Sourcing experience preferable in the construction industry or the telecommunications industry.
  • Proven track record as a sourcing expert
  • Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement
  • Operate with internal & external stakeholders in a Matrix environment
  • Strong project management and leadership skills
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analysing and interpreting data, proficient in excel.
  • Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP an advantage)
  • BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
