Experience Required
- The candidate should demonstrate an understanding of the market for teaching and leadership professional development (particularly on the supply side).
- Experience of working with schools and the wider education sector would be desirable.
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate experience of working on innovation funds - helping to generate innovation, assess and manage the associated risks, particularly around achieving value for money and consider the impact on programme delivery.
- In helping to assess the market landscape, the candidate will help develop appropriate market warming strategies which support involvement from a range of potential providers and help inform the best approach to the market to align with desired outcomes of the fund.
- The candidate should also be able to advise the department on contractual issues with suppliers to support the realisation of benefits and managing the monitoring and impact of the fund.
- The candidate will work as part of team which includes commercial leads and department officials.
