Description
Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Commissioning Support Manager to be based in London for an initial period of 7 months with possible extension.
The key purpose of the role is to:
Provide support to the Head of Commissioning Support as follows:
- Support Programme Leads to determine requirements for future commissioning
- Provide product evaluation if required (to inform procurement requirements)
- Provide business analysis to inform commissioning requirements
- Take part in evaluation of bids on behalf of the business
- Creation of performance management plans to ensure contracts are effectively managed by Senior Business Owners
- Act as performance manager when required
- Produce timeline plan based on; date product or services are required and timescales for procurement process for each programme (which will feed into the commissioning strategy)
- Liaise with key parts of the programme and colleagues (including Business Architecture and Commercial)
Experience required
- Experience of product evaluation and business analysis to inform business requirements
- Experience of delivering successful commercial & commissioning outcomes through development of robust requirements, setting business evaluation criteria, and contract performance management
- Experience of working within Government and awareness of procurement routes (including digital procurement routes)
- Experience of Excel
