Risk Leader

A chance for an experienced Risk professional to be responsible for the conduct of all delegated PSO risk analysis, maintenance and quality of risk register and processes and appropriate people development to enhance programme risk analysis and reporting.

Core Duties:

  • Lead and develop all PSO programme risk analysis and evidencing activities, with a focus on continuous improvement, drawing upon best practice and practical experience and ensuring the timely delivery of all risk analysis to senior programme reviews, eg Termly Programme Review.
  • Lead and develop the Risk Team within the PSO, recognising individual's skills and experience as drawn from across the three Industrial Partners (IPs) and MOD.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all qualitative & quantitative risk analysis (eg SRA & ARM) in support of programme requirements.
  • Ensure all SRA that is conducted satisfies customer & corporate maturity criteria.
  • Development of all risk analysis documentation, including SRA narrative document, and reports showing pan-IP risk analysis and timely provision of all risk analysis products to support PSO Reporting team timescales.
  • Complete 121 briefings to all IPMT Programme Managers/Directors as required.
  • Lead on all governance activities ensuring that all collaborative processes are fit for purpose and adhered to. This will include ensuring that these processes align with MoD/IP requirements.
  • Chair monthly cross party monthly process meetings. Deputise for the PSO Risk Manager at the SRA working group.
  • Lead interaction with Primary, Secondary, CMC and Combat System stakeholders in support of updating the respective Critical Path Analyses

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Degree/HNC/HND/Certificate in Project Management - Professional Qualification
  • Specialist Professional Qualification/APMPQ
  • CM Awareness/Assessor
  • Recognised Expert in Risk Management Tools and Techniques including ARM and SRA
  • Experience with working in a collaborative environment
  • Experience in change/transformation projects/programmes
