We are currently looking for a Windows Infrastructure Specialist as contractor for a home based assignment.

Duration: (1 year rollover extension)
Place: home based
Description:
- Participation in a hardware and software refresh project includes relocation of DC
- Create relocate and configure virtual Servers (using VMware vCenter, vMotion)
- Support the testing and production operation
- Liaison with other internal and external departments due the optimal deployment and operation
- Work closely with the Storage, Linux (RHEL 6), Network and Windows counterparts for the provision of an optimal service for customers
- Performance monitoring and optimization
- Planning and execution of configuration changes
- Preparation of operational documentation
- Support in regular operation and projects
Skills:
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server (all versions)
- Cluster architecture, configuration and administration
- Active Directory, DNS, security policies
- Monitoring, Backup (TSM, data protector), Reporting
- Good Knowledge of SAN, IP Network administration and configuration.
- HP 3PAR, Brocade Switches, rcopy asynchronous data replication
- Very good knowledge of virtualization + VMware, vMotion, ESX, latest versions
- MS SQL server, Oracle, latest versions
