Compliance Manager - Insurance
We are currently looking for a compliance manager to work for a top insurance business in the UK. As compliance manager, we are looking for you to provide expert advice, guidance and support on all regulatory matters relating to FCA and PRA queries. You will contribute to overall compliance and performance of the company playing a major role in ensuring the business is compliant with all regulations.
Compliance Manager Responsibilities;
- Review Changes in the UK and European Regulatory environment.
- Reviews and summarises regulatory papers to determine relevance and impact on the business and provides comprehensive guidance for management.
- Provide timely and commercially sound guidance and advice to business functions on all regulatory matters, recommending changes to processes and procedures that will reduce compliance risk and raise operational standards.
- Draft compliance reports for local management and Group/Executive committees and the FCA within pre-defined timescales.
- To create and maintain a compliance reference 'library' for the use of all staff in the business. To maintain a database of advice given to the business.
Compliance Manager experience/Skill set;
- Extensive compliance experience within a small or large insurance business within the UK.
- Excellent understanding of the FCA/PRA handbook.
- Stakeholder management experience to exec level.
- Compliance advisory and monitoring background.
