Finance Analyst/Vendor Manager x2 - Banking industry experience - Cheshire - 3 months - £

Gibbs S3 are currently recruiting for 2 Finance Analyst/Vendor Managers with a background in project accounting to join a large client based in Cheshire. This role is initially 3 months (but subject to extension) and is paying between £ per day.

Key Accountabilities

Financial Management:

* Provide detailed financial analysis and tracking as it relates to the designated business area being supported
* Monitor budget and headcount for the area(s), run rate analysis
* Engage with finance representatives to understand monthly variances to forecast, provide commentary around variances
* Clarify appropriate cost centre usage for various spend across
* Maintenance of all official financials systems as it relates to month end, RAF, MTP, STP

Vendor Management:

* Responsible for updating and maintaining spend data on an ongoing basis
* Incident/query investigation and resolution related to vendor spend
* Monitoring of outstanding and aged invoices and Purchase Orders and closing of Purchase Orders to release accruals
* Raising of requests for Purchase Orders or raising requests for self service/STP deals - creation and request of POs post Sourcing approval
* Responsible for monthly analysis and review of exceptions report
