Description
We are looking for a Project Manager for a long term remote working engagement, the focus is around EMV Contact and Contactless and payments.
EMV is a specification for secure transactions between cards with integrated chips (chip cards), POS terminals capable of reading chip cards, issuers, and acquirers. The EMV specifications broadly impact the payment ecosystem from card issuing to merchant acquiring.
Description
- You will be responsible for managing ongoing activities for the implementation support and providing subject matter expertise to the wider business and PULSE issuers, acquirers and merchants that are migrating from magnetic stripe to chip cards (or related EMV-based products).
- You will also work with external consultants, terminal manufacturers, card manufacturers, personalization bureaus, testing labs, and test tool vendors to help enable support.
- This contractor will provide technical product knowledge, EMV process expertise, and project management advice.
- You will help guide partners through the implementation life cycle, and be responsible for insuring that project timelines are met.
- You will work with technical subject matter expects to manage the resolution of failed tests and facilitate requests for policy exceptions/waivers.
- You may help resolve all issues that arise during planning, certification, implementation and deployment.
- You may also be responsible for forecasting and tracking the product implementations, communicating status.
- This contractor will build relationships with current and potential issuing, acquiring and merchant partners. This involves providing support to the sales teams in client meetings and providing consultative support throughout client product implementations.
- You will also interact regularly with current and potential network partners, including providing training and other SME guidance as required.
- Minimal travel throughout Mumbai required.
Mandatory skills
- The candidate must have extensive payments experience, preferably with exposure to Contact and Contactless EMV
- Has successfully led and implemented business critical projects of large scope with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experienced in managing multiple partner/vendor relationships simultaneously; must possess excellent client management skills.
- Strong PC competency (MS Office products, Visio, and Microsoft Project) required
- Well-developed presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information to internal and external constituents at all levels
- This position will require the candidate to perform a wide variety of tasks; a wide degree of creativity is expected
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong aptitude for planning and organization, detail - oriented. Lean or Agile project management a plus
